KRUCHEV DOL MINE, MADAN DISTRICT, SOUTHERN RHODOPE MOUNTAINS, BULGARIA
Light pastel pink curved manganoan calcites with associated quartz druse. A very rare specimen from this mine and in fact the only one I have ever seen. It looks pseudomorphic as well and may in fact be rhodochrosite after manganoan calcite. Mined 2009. In great condition. 3 x 4 x 5 cm
