Parallel group of lustrous, pink calcite with associated quartz and sphalerite. Note the old hand lettered label attached and written on adhesive tape. The 'old style' was to use this method to preserve information by directly attaching the tag to the piece. In this case, the specimen was acquired on Christmas Day, 1965. Typically it was advantageous to travel to mineral districts and buy specimens over the holidays as presents to the kids could take priority over minerals. Doubly terminated group measures 4.5 x 6 x 11 cm and in great condition. Malkin collection.
