Spiky calcites protrude from every angle over this very fine specimen from mining c. 1985. It is extremely rare to see what is basically an intact vug of crystals from this section of the orebody, most pieces from the North-End are quite tight in the pocket and tend to shatter when collected. In very good condition, crystals around the perimeter are largely broken off (normal for this type of specimen) but the center is the highlight and this area is in great shape. Smith collection.
