Massive white barite is the matrix for lustrous ball-like groups of ivory calcite liberally scattered over the surface. The calcites are atypically prismatic and the overall appearance, color and association indicates a Mahoning property: probably hoisted from the #4 shaft and likely mined from the Edgar Davis section or thereabouts.
