Plate of drusy, well crystallized quartz with very high luster black sphalerite grouped over the surface. The Davis/Deardorff Mine was the richest stratiform producer in the district....by far. Incredible specimens were produced from the late 1930s-early 1960s but most of the great things came out early and fine specimens from this location are very difficult to obtain. This specimen was mined c. 1940s-1950s. In great condition. Roy SMith Collection. 3 x 11 x 14 cm.
