INDIANA MINE, LAKE SUPERIOR COPPER DISTRICT, ONTONOGAN COUNTY, MICHIGAN
Rich, tenorite patina on copper with associated amygdaloid matrix. Upon close examination the crystals are tetrahexahedrons with some twinning and parallel growth and some dodecahedron faces as well. The specimen has great sculptural form and appeal. Excellent locality rarely documented with such a high quality copper. No faults. 3 x 6 x 8.5 cm. Paul LaBonte Collection.
