SENECA MINE, LAKE SUPERIOR COPPER DISTRICT, KEWEENAW PENINSULA, KEWEENAW COUNTY, MICHIGAN
Branching group of native copper with rich purplish/red cuprite patina. The specimen is a combination of crystal faces and impressions of analcite that were present in the vein. I collected the specimen from a footwall structure that ran for hundreds and hundreds of feet. Very aesthetic and attractive copper with no faults. Ross C.
